Standing on the shoulders of giants!

Welcome to “Lean Business Exploration.”

On this site we are going to discuss and propose a way of doing startups that’s very different than what most currently do. However, it’s not new. It’s mostly based on the work of others, but perhaps presented in a different way and with a different emphasis here and there.

In particular, this work owes an enormous amount to Steve Blank, for his landmark and breakthrough work on Customer Development, to Eric Ries for his hugely popular work on Lean Startup, and to Alexander Osterwalder and his colleagues for their leading work on the Business Model Canvas.

We will explain more about “Lean Business Exploration” in future posts but for now we just wanted to acknowledge the work of others. The work that has lead us here and provides the foundations upon which we can hopefully make a contribution. Ok, let the journey begin.
